Learning for Tomorrow – EMEA initiative 2022 was an exclusive event for creative people from EMEA. To be able to participate in the EMEA initiative, Epic Games had attached some requirements to its participation conditions, which we would like to point out here. We were happy to offer up to ten seats per studio.
The Learning for Tomorrow – EMEA initiative 2022 was aimed at educators, trainers, lecturers, freelancers, animation professionals and adult professionals currently working with 3D digital content creation (DCC) tools. Unfortunately, students cannot participate.
No experience with UE was required. Participants were expected to demonstrate a solid understanding of current 3D computer graphics software technologies (e.g. Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.) and standard DCC production workflows. If admitted to the course, we expected attendance for the entire 5 days. Up to ten participants could be registered per studio. These 5-day trainings took place every week until the end of 2022. The last course ended December 23. Courses run daily from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CEST.
Communication in the courses of the Initiative took place via Discord. Therefore, a Discord account was required. If the participants were not yet registered, they could do so at https://discord.com/register. Please note the privacy policy of Discord. Please enter the details of each participant. Currently, only a pre-reservation for future dates in 2023 is possible. However, nothing concrete has been determined here yet. The EMEA Initiative 2022 is over.
